Board of Directors Meeting
Minutes
August 17, 1995

Board Members Present:

Lemuel Amen, Arnold Barr (Chair), Ed Hayes (Treasurer), Rebecca Head, Jeff Ogden, Keith Stanger (Secretary), Mary Udoji

Community Members Present:

Steve Weiss (Chair, HVCN Technical Committee)

The meeting was held at the Washtenaw County Library and was called to order at 4:45 p.m. by Ms. Head and Ms. Udoji. An agenda was distributed.

It was agreed to hold a retreat on Sunday, August 27, 1995 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Washtenaw County Library to discuss HVCN issues and activities for the Fall of 1995. Topic areas to be discussed were agreed upon and individuals volunteered to serve as discussion facilitators for each area.

It was agreed to invite Lana Straight, Joan Durrance, Lance Sloan, Valerie Mates, Steve Gibbard, and Dan Romanchik to the meeting.

It was agreed to hold a two-hour follow-up meeting on Sunday, September 24, 1995.

It was agreed to try to have a Board meeting once a month. The next Board meeting was scheduled for Tuesday, September 5, 1995 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Washtenaw County Library.

The financial report submitted by Mr. Hayes was approved by the Board.

The meeting was adjourned at 6:25 p.m.
