TODAY, PENTECOST SUNDAY is Strengthen the Church Sunday (as well as Mothers' Day).   There will be envelopes for a special offering that will be taken.   Money from this offering grows the UCC's future by supporting new and revitalizing congregations, programs for youth and young adults, leadership development and God is Still Speaking activities: administered by UCC Conferences, Local Church Ministries and the Still Speaking Ministry.

KLARA DANNAR, DEACON AND WEBSTER CHURCH PARISH NURSE is speaking at the White Oaks Center, Chelsea Community Hospital on Tuesday, May 13.   The topic is ÒVolunteering in GhanaÓ.   Please check the bulletin board by the kitchen for more information.

TICKETS ARE NOW AVAILABLE TO WIN VACATION ACCOMODATIONS AT 1ST CLASS RESORTS IN DECEMBER OF THIS YEAR.  Orlando, San Luis (CA) and Gatlinburg (TN) are the 1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes.  All proceeds benefit the Ghana Ministry scholarship and medical equipment and supplies programs in the Sanzule Refugee Camp.  Tickets are $5 each or 3 for $10.  Drawing will be at the Fall Festival in September.  You don't have to be present to win and prizes are transferable and can be given as gifts if you wish.  If you would like a block of tickets to sell, would like to purchase some, or just want more information, see Jerry Champine, Judy Bemis or any member of the Ghana Steering Committee.

UPCOMING GUILD ACTIVITIES:
      Annual Plant Sale: Sunday, May 18, following our one 10:30 a.m. worship service.  Please donate any of your garden extras for our plant sale to benefit the Webster Garden.  Great plants for sale for bargain prices.

AS PASTOR GILL DEPARTS, WEBSTER WILL BE MOVING TO A SINGLE SERVICE IN MAY.  This service will begin at 10:30 a.m.  There will not be an 8:00 a.m. worship service in May.  Beginning June 1st Webster Church will begin the summer schedule of one worship service at 9:30 a.m.

A pair of clip-on sunglasses in a dark gray hard case was lost last Thursday at Webster. Has anyone seen them or found them? Please call the church office, 734-426-5115.

THE DEFINITIVE HISTORY OF WEBSTER TOWNSHIP is available.  Your order may be picked up through the church office.  .  There are books that have not been pre-ordered and are available.  Hard cover cost is $32.50; soft cover cost is $27.50. 
Rev. Stuart is in the church office Tuesday and Friday.  Please call for his office hours.  Nell's hours in the office are Wednesday and Friday 10:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. and Thursday, 1:00 until 5:00 p.m.
