THE FOOD PANTRY:   At this time the food pantry is pretty bare.   Items were donated to different organizations before the expiration date.

Our 2 nd meeting with Faith In Action (FIA) from Chelsea was held in January.   A possible location has been identified to open up a food pantry/clothing bank in Dexter.   A group of people are putting a business plan together while others are collecting food.   If everything goes as planned our goal is to open the Dexter location in 6 to 8 weeks.   If you have an interest in volunteering or donating items please let me know.   If you are able, please donate items to our food pantry the first Sunday of each month.   Each month we will ask for different items.   For March we are asking for juice of all sizes, spaghetti and spaghetti sauce, peanut butter and jelly, soups, and toilet paper.   These items are available to any church member or someone in need.   The items that are left over will be saved for the opening of our new food/clothing location in Dexter.   Thank you for your support.   If you have questions please call Denise Moyer-Banks at 734.424.0816.
