Creek & Hiawatha trails.
Stokely offers 100 km of groomed trails within 8,000 road-less acres, providing
incredible solitude and a variety of lovely views: Lake Superior bays,
wild lakes, creeks, canyons with icefalls, forests, and mountains. Ski up the
region’s highest peak (King Mtn. 1880 ft.) or explore backcountry trails
for awesome views of Algoma Highlands. Hiawatha has groomed XC trails for every
experience level. Iceskating and snowshoeing opportunities in area.

forest of Udell Hills, - an area reknown for an average of 130 inches
of snow from December through March. One of the first professionally
developed Nordic trail systems in U.S. (1950's), Big M offers a variety
of terrain to challenge every skiing experience level.

11 XC ski areas surround TC: stupendous Sleeping Bear Dunes Natl. Lakeshore w/
8 trails, and Vasa Trail. Vasa, just outside TC in Pere Marquette State Forest,
attracts avid XC skiers with its extensive groomed courses for skating and striding.
Loops of 3K, 5K, 11K and 25K provide great scenery and plenty of challenge. Several
