Purpose
of the Washtenaw Ski Touring Club
To promote cross country skiing and to share the interest with others interested
in cross country skiing. The Washtenaw Ski Touring Club is an organization
of people with a shared interest in cross country skiing, who appreciate
nature, enjoy the outdoors, want to stay active and healthy throughout the
year, and enjoy the fellowship of others with similar interests. |

Running and ski coach Pete Edwards will demonstrate cross-training with his American
Ski Walking system which uses modified trekking poles custom made in Lillehammer,
Norway. Nordic Ski Walking is the fastest growing fitness activity in Europe
- no snow, no skis required! |
