- Pioneer Woods - Seventh Street and West Stadium Blvd. Heavily wooded natural area. Hiking trails.
- Scarlett Mitchell Woods = Between Scarlett Middle School and Ellsworth Road. Heavily wooded natural area. Hiking trails.
- Thurston Pond - Between Thurston Elementary School and Bluett. Nature area.
