Fundraising
We provide a great deal of financial support to Pittsfield students and teachers each year. Without fundraisers, there would be no money to help pay for field trips and transportation, school assemblies or other classroom extras. Fundraising is essential to continue PTO's mission to support and enhance learning at Pittsfield Elementary School!
The PTO sponsors a variety of fundraisers. Whether it is a direct sales fundraiser or a merchant-sponsored program, your support of these programs makes a difference for the students at Pittsfield.
Fall Fundraiser
This year's fall fund raiser will be a Fall Fun Run. Our Fall Fun Run will kick off on October 4th. Students will have three weeks to raise pledges for the run that will take place on October 25th. This is a great opportunity to raise some funds for the school and to promote physical fitness. We plan to raise money for our school while encouraging all of our children to participate in this healthy and fun activity.

Market Day
Through the Market Day program you can order a variety of delicious, easy-to-prepare frozen foods. Each month, you will find an order form in your student's backpack. Peanut-free, gluten-free, and other specially prepared foods are also available. The Pittsfield Elementary PTO receives a percentage of each Market Day sale. Order online at www.marketday.com. Orders are delivered to school for pick up. Use the Pittsfield Elementary School ID number 18580 when placing your order.

Box Tops for Education
Have you seen this symbol on your groceries and other items? Don’t throw those away! Please clip them and send them to school. Each label is worth 10 cents. We have raised $829 for the 2008-2009 school year, and more than $4,000 in earnings since we joined.
Every penny truly does count!
Parents, staff and family members can sign up to support Pittsfield on the Boxtops website and our school will get a 50 cent bonus for each supporter who signs up. Sign up at (www.registerforboxtops4education.com).
Also, after you have registered at the Box Tops for Education web site,
you can shop online with your favorite stores and they will donate a portion of your purchase! Once you are registered click (www.boxtops4education.com) and visit the BoxTops Marketplace tab to see the participating stores.
These include Best Buy, Cabela’s, Gap, Home Depot, Kohl’s, Old Navy, Oriental Trading Company, and many others!
Meijer Community Rewards
When you present your Meijer 1 Card or Meijer Credit Card each time you make a purchase, the PTO will receive a percentage of your purchase. Sign up at a Meijer store or online. Pittsfield's school code is 479098.
Staples Rewards
Do you use a printer at home and have used printer ink cartridges? Please send them to school with your child marked for the Stapes Rewards Recycle program. Our PTO receives cash for our school when we send in your recycled cartridges. It gives a whole new meaning to "That was Easy!"
Target "Take Charge of Education" Program
This program requires the use of a Target REDcard, which can be Visa card or a guest card. Applications are available at Target Stores or online. Pittsfield's school ID is 60607.
Kroger Scrip Card
Do you shop at Krogers? Do you use their Rewards Card? Then register your card online! After registering your card, every time you shop and swipe your Kroger Plus card, a percentage of your purchase is paid to Pittsfield - at no additional cost to you! Sign up at (www.kroger.com/mykroger/018/community/Pages/community_rewards.aspx) The ID# for our school is 82766.
Hiller's Scrip Card
If you like to shop at Hiller's, then you can help Pittsfield by using a Scrip Card. It works the same as a gift card and is reloadable. Simply tell the cashier how much you want put on your scrip card before your order is scanned, then pay with the scrip card! It's that easy, and Pittsfield gets a percentage of your purchase!
