Staples Office Supplies rewards Program
Donations can also be made to the MDLA indirectly. When
making purchases at Staples, the Rewards Program credit
can be given to MDLA. It is very simple. Just ask the cashier
to credit the purchase to the Michigan Lyme Disease Association.
The cashier can key in 1-734-326-3502 and get our rewards
account number. This is an easy and much appreciate method
of donation to MDLA. We get credits towards our purchases.
Phone & Internet Service
Save money on your phone, internet,
and cellular bills and benefit the Michigan Lyme Disease Association.
The MLDA saved a substantial amount of money on our phone costs by
consulting with Bill Kosloskey, of The Phone Group, a consulting firm
based in Petoskey, Michigan. Bill has offered to do the same for you, any other business, or
residential customer that would like to have a subjective 'second
opinion' as to whether or not your phone company is serving your best
interest. He will tell you honestly if you're getting the best deal, NO
GIMMICKS. The best part is that any recommendations you implement will
help support the MLDA! For more information go to The Phone Group,
Charity Motors
Donate your used car to Charity Motors and Charity Motors makes a
donation to the Michigan Lyme Disease Association. Simply call Charity
Motors at 313-255-1000 and give them the Michigan Lyme Disease
Associations name. Charity Motors will make arrangements to receive
your vehicle and MLDA get a 70% donation from Charity Motors when they
sell the car.
How To Donate
To donate a vehicle, you may either donate online by completing our easy
to use donation form located below, or simply call Charity Motors and
our friendly staff will ask for some general information such as vehicle
type, where the vehicle is located, etc. This will only take a few
minutes. This information will be faxed to a towing company who will
call you to arrange a convenient date to pick up your vehicle. You do
not have to be home at the time of pick up; however, you will need to
tell the towing company where in the vehicle you plan to leave the title
and the keys. They will leave you a temporary receipt showing they have
picked up the vehicle on behalf of Charity Motors. Once we have received
your vehicle and title, Charity Motors will then mail you an IRS tax
form and donation receipt within 5-10 business days. For more
information go to http://www.charitymotors.org.
