Library of the Genealogical Society of Washtenaw County, Michigan, Inc. Submitting Research Requests
		Limited research in response to written requests relating to ancesters who were or may have been residents of Washtenaw County is conducted by volunteers of our Society using only the sources available in our library. Correspondence will be answered by our volunteers as time permits. Please send us a letter containing the information listed below. The Society may be able to supply names of others who can check additional sources outside of our library.
1- SASE:		a large self-addressed stamped envelope.
2- Contribution:		a check to support our library and volunteer efforts, suggested contribution $10.00 payable to the GSWC. We guarantee you will get more than $10 worth of research time from our experienced volunteers and you will have the satisfaction of knowing that your contribution makes it possible for us to purchase the books and materials we need to do a first rate job and maintain a collection of the best sources for Washtenaw County research.
3- Your request:		your specific request listing... name of the individual and family members you are asking about specific information you are looking for related to that person or family approximate time period you might expect that person or family to have been in this county location where that person or family resided in Washtenaw County, if known
4- Supporting information:		all pertinent information for the individual or family named in your request including... family group sheets pedigree charts all census data related to the individual or family
