Hours	Tuesday through Sunday 2pm-5pm. Closed holiday weekends. For scholars and people who fly in from distant areas, these hours can be extended if arrangements are made in advance with the archivist.
Directions	From I-94 on the South, take Exit 183 north onto Huron Street. Go about six blocks into town, passing Michigan Avenue US-12. The museum and library will be about three blocks on the right. To get back to I-94, follow Huron back to Michigan Avenue. Turn right, going west three blocks to Hamilton and turn left. Follow it south to I-94.
Parking	Free parking is available next to the building.
Holdings	County and local history books, city directories. Some church, land, military, court, and city tax records. Obituary card file (50,000 cards), cemetery reference, artifacts and documents dating to the founding of Ypsilanti. Newspapers and newspaper clippings. Family genealogies. Maps and atlases. Some DAR and Kiwanis records. Original diaries, papers, and manuscripts. Card catalog of events, 1830-1961. Street, biographical, and subject files (historic homes, buildings, churches, schools, railroads, black history, the underground railroad, Willow Run). Small print collection including Ypsilanti High School Girl Drum and Bugle Corps, Rainbow Girls. Yearbooks from Ypsilanti High School, Eastern Michigan University.
Restrictions	The collection is non-circulating.
