Hours	Hours vary between terms and around holidays. Guided tours available if arranged in advance. Monday-Friday 10am-5pm all year Sundays 1pm-4pm during Fall/Winter sessions
Directions	From I-94 on the South, take Exit 177 onto S. State Street. Go north into the campus area of Ann Arbor, turning right onto S. University, just past the Law Quad. Go one block to Tappan Street. The library will be on the left across from Tappan and behind the Clements Library. Enter the library from South University across from Tappan between the Clements Library and the President's House. See map of Central Campus.
Parking	Metered parking is available along side streets. University staff parking is available after hours (usually after 6pm). Check signs at each lot.
Holdings	Michigan's largest map collection and one of the largest university collections in the U.S. is open to the public as well as university patrons. Over 280,000 maps of all types; several thousand historical maps as early as the 16th century. Aerial photographs and satellite imagery of Michigan and especially Washtenaw County. Thousands of atlases, reference books, journals. Information file of catalogs, price lists and indexes. Librarians will provide help using the online catalog, MIRLYN. Reference assistance (searching bibliographies and databases, locating maps, etc.) can be arranged by appointment with the librarian. Restrictions	Some materials in the Map and Special Collections Libraries are in closed stacks and most items do not circulate.
Copying	$.?? per page. The Map Library has both standard and large format copiers. Items which may not be copied include large atlases, fragile maps, very large maps, and rare maps (before 1900). Some rare maps may be photographed. All reprints and reproductions may be copied.
