September-April:
 Monday-Thursday 8am-midnight
 Friday 8am-10pm
 Saturday 10am-6pm
 Sunday 1pm-midnight

May-August:
 Monday-Friday 8am-10pm

 Sunday 2pm-10pm

Directions From I-94 on the South, take Exit 177 onto S. State Street. Go north into the campus area of Ann Arbor, turning right onto S. University, just past the Law Quad. Go one block to Tappan Street. The library will be on the left across from Tappan and behind the Clements Library. Enter the library from South University across from Tappan between the Clements Library and the President's House.

Parking Metered parking is available along side streets. University staff parking is available after hours (usually after 6pm). Check signs at each lot.

Holdings The U of M Library system is the fourth largest university library in the United States. The Graduate Library collection includes history and some genealogy by country and state, genealogical periodicals, extensive microfilm collections including all Michigan census and Soundex, Michigan county histories, and newspapers from Washtenaw County, Detroit and New York City. (The microform room in located on level 2 South.) Ask for the Ann Arbor Newspaper Chronological List and Reel Guide.

Restrictions In general, the collections do not circulate to the public.
Publications The library has a genealogy flier available at the Reference Desk on level 2.

Copying $.?? per page. The Graduate Library requires the use of their copy card available from vending machines near the copiers on the main floor. Cards cost $1.00 and come programmed with ? copies. You can add credits to your card at the vending machine. Cards from other University of Michigan libraries will not work here.
