Directions |
From US-23 on the East, take Plank Road Exit 25. Turn west onto Plank Road (Main Street) heading into Milan. Make a left turn at the stop sign where the Oakville-Milan Road angles in from the right (you are still on Main Street). Turn left at the first light onto Wabash and cross the Saline River. Turn left on Neckel, and make the first left into the parking lot which services the Milan City Hall, Police Station, and Library. The library is just to the left of City Hall.

A complete catalog of the Milan area local history and genealogy collection is being prepared. Index of births, marriages, and deaths from Milan newspapers. Monroe County marriage records. Cemetery records. Minutes of Milan village and city council meetings. Local newspapers on microfiche/microfilm from 1884. Individual family histories and genealogies. High school year books starting 1950, pictures, clippings.
