The GSWC Library is colocated with the LDS Family History Library
in Saline, Michigan. Library stacks are open to both members and non-members alike.
Individuals interested in using the computers and CDs should inquire of the librarian. Basic Information For basic information such as address, phone, hours, directions, and holdings, see the library fact pages: The LDS Family History Center Research Requests At the present time, we are not set up to receive and process inquiries via the web. To request research, please read the instructions under Submitting Research Requests, then communicate with us by mail. Books and Microforms Many of the books available in the library are listed in the Bibliography. All GSWC Publications are also on hand. LDS microforms can be ordered through the GSWC/LDS library. See Placing an LDS Order. Over 2000 frequently used microforms are kept on indefinite loan and are available for patrons to use at any time. Index to Microform Reference Pages lists these microfilm and microfiche numbers. To get an idea of the depth of the collection, see the statistics listed under Number of Entries by Locality/Subject Code. |
