The Fulbright Association is the U.S. national membership organization which supports and promotes the Fulbright Program of international educational and cultural exchange. A private, nonprofit organization started by U.S. Fulbright alumni in February 1977, the association provides hospitality and enrichment activities for foreign Fulbright students, scholars, and teachers during their stay in the U.S. It also facilitates relationships among, and public service by, former Fulbright grantees.
