Friends of the Ann Arbor District Library
We will be closed Memorial Day weekend.
We are open most weekends: Saturdays 10-4 Sundays 1-4
It's easy to donate your unwanted books any time the Downtown Library is open. Just drive in the staff lot off William Street and ring the doorbell.
To contact by phone either Friends of the Ann Arbor District Library OR the Friends Book Shop, call (734) 302-7774.
LET'S BE FRIENDS! Join the FAADL and help support the Summer Reading Program, Second Grade Library visits and other special programs.
We need DONATIONS of books, CDs and DVDs. If you have books that you will never read again or you need to clear space for new items, please pack them into reasonably sized boxes or strong paper bags and drop them off at the loading dock of the Downtown Library off William Street near Fifth.
Book lovers--click the "Contact Us" link to join us as a volunteer cashier or book sorter during the week or on weekends.
Since 2001 we have donated $912,446.00 to the AADL for special programs.
Over 200,000 books a year arrive in our shop and thus not in our landfills.
We welcome your questions and comments. Just click the "Contact Us" link.
