Q: How is my information kept private?
The online giving form requires you to give us contact information (like your name and address); your phone and Email address are optional (though an Email address is used to send you a confirmation of your contribution). We use this to assist us in matching with your member giving record. Emmanuel will not share your personal information with third parties.
Q: When are gifts processed?
You are able to choose the date your gifts are to be processed online via our web site.
Q: If I do not write checks, how do I keep my checkbook balance right?
Since you decide when your contribution is processed, you simply record it in your check register on the appropriate date.
Q: Without a canceled check, how can I prove I made my donation?
Your bank or credit card statement gives you an itemized list on electronic debits; this will be your proof of donation. Emmanuel will also provide members a statement at calendar year end for tax purposes.
Q: What if I'm not a member of Emmanuel, but I want to make a donation?
We are happy to receive your gift. Online giving is a perfect way for you to give.

Yes, they will be included on member's statements.
Q: How can I get a receipt of my online gift?
You will receive a confirmation email once you have completed your donation transaction provided you entered an Email address. Members will also find it listed on your annual contribution statement.

It costs you nothing and saves you time.
Q: Can I make one contribution to see if I like it?
Yes, our donations page can process either one-time, weekly, or monthly contributions. You can also specify an ending date for contributions, if you wish.
Q: Can I make changes or cancel my contributions schedule?
Yes, the website allows you the ability to modify this on-line.
