Pastor Hendricks' 25th Anniversary of Ordination
July 29, 2012 -- Worship Service
On July 29th Emmanuel celebrated the 25th anniversary of David Hendricks' ordination, and as a reminder of the blessings that God has showered on him and on all the people of God during those 25 years.
To recognize this milestone, Emmanuel opted to hold one worship service at 10:30am, so that the people who normally worship at the 8:15 and 10:45 services could celebrate together. We also invited members from previous congregations Pastor Dave has served to celebrate with us. The musical group The Travellers and the Ypsilanti Community Choir provided special music during the worship service.
Pictures from this worship service and the events later in the day were taken by Pauline Carr and Bob Klaffke. They are arranged chronologically and grouped into the following categories:

Sending Hymn - Our God Reigns
The cross processes from the sanctuary
“The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me,
because the LORD has anointed me;
he has sent me to bring good news to the oppressed,
to bind up the brokenhearted,
to proclaim liberty to the captives,
and release to the prisoners.”
Isaiah 61:1 NRSV
