Habitat for Humanity - Thrivent Builds banner

Habitat for Humanity is partnering with Thrivent Builds to renovate a home in Ann Arbor for 2010. Instead of a new build, we will be renovating a house this year. located at 2836 Maplewood in Ann Arbor (read more about the build effort at the Thrivent Builds Huron Valley blog).

OFFICIAL KICK-OFF June 5th -- Blitz Week: June 7 – 12
Build dates thereafter Thursday thru Saturday through June 26

Please notify Michele Wenzel (Emmanuel's congregational representative for Habitat for Humanity of Huron Valley) or contact the church office if if you would like to volunteer.

Prepare meals -- Along with workers, we could use lunches for the volunteers during the build. Please contact the church office for more details.

Provide financial support -- Monetary contributions are welcome as well. Our goal as a congregation is $1,000. You may write a check out to Emmanuel and put Habitat for Humanity in the subject line. You may also make the check out directly to Habitat for Humanity and put it in the offering plate.
