Ypsilanti CROP Walk
Sunday, October 13 – 1:30 p.m.
Emmanuel is the host church this year for the Ypsilanti CROP Hunger Walk scheduled for Sunday, October 13. The Walk begins with registration at 1:30 p.m., with walkers starting the one mile route around Riverside Park and/or the 10K route around the city about 2:15 p.m. Refreshments and a simple meal of soup, cider and apples will be provided at Emmanuel at the end of the event.

As in previous years, one-quarter of the funds raised stays in the Ypsilanti area to support local food programs like the Hunger Coalition, Brown Chapel, and Salvation Army meals, as well as SOS Community Services with small items.
Please mark your calendar for October 13 and plan to participate by walking or supporting a walker. The CROP team will be in the narthex with materials beginning Sunday, September 8.
The need for food never ends — not just in Ypsilanti but throughout our country and the rest of the world. Through this Church World Service/CROP community effort, we can respond in a meaningful way.
