During 2009 Emmanuel has organized special worship services and other events to celebrate our 150th anniversary. The second event, celebrating our present, was held on August 30th.

Following the worship service, Emmanuel threw a party which was open to all past and present members of Emmanuel, as well as our friends and neighbors in the surrounding community. Entertainment included the jazz group Five Miles More, original music by the Maracas of Invincibility, a puppet show by Sam and Miriam Bornhorst, and of course, food and drink. But what made this day special were the people that celebrated with us.
