Sunday School in Sanctuary

About Sunday Youth Church School

Sunday Youth Church School will take place during the late (10:45am) worship service. Children nursery age through grade 5 will leave the sanctuary after the children’s message and go to their group area to review the bible story heard, go over related material and do a special activity before returning to the worship service. This should take about 30 minutes.

Grades 6-8 (catechism), high school and adult participants will continue to meet at 9:30am Sunday mornings. Check the FAQ page or individual program pages for more information on those programs.

Note - Younger children not currently taking Holy Communion are welcome to attend in preparation to receive Holy Communion. Families will make the final decision about this reception along with each child. We will meet in the Lounge.

Volunteer Opportunities

We prayerfully ask for several of you to help organize this program for the sake of ALL our children. We will need volunteers to teach, chaperon, and help with crafts during the thirty minutes or so of class. The Sunday School Team’s primary role will be to get this program off the ground and volunteers to help in teaching, chaperoning and craft making. Interested volunteers can sign up using the on-line registration form.

For more information please contact Eric Maes, Pastor Dave, or the Church Office.

People were bringing even infants to him that he might
touch them; and when the disciples saw it, they sternly
ordered them not to do it. But Jesus called for them and said,
‘Let the little children come to me, and do not stop them;
for it is to such as these that the kingdom of God belongs.
Truly I tell you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God
as a little child will never enter it.’
