The Church is a Community of Faith called, gathered, enlightened, and sanctified by the power of God through His Holy Spirit. It is a Community of Faith who care for, forgive, and help one another as well as share in common sorrows and joys. The Church is a Community of Love as revealed in the love of God in Christ Jesus.
The Church is Christ's body on earth, His people who not only find their lives in Christ but through whom He seeks to extend His love and kingdom as well. It is the people of Christ who believe that Jesus is God's revelation and their salvation.
The Church lives in the Spirit of God, gaining its power and its life from the daily gift of the Holy Spirit. It is a life in the Spirit, a life of openness to the world and to all people as our brothers and sisters; a life of continual searching and learning; a life of faith and doubt; a life of love.

The Church has been called to serve, bringing the good news of God's forgiving love to all people. It is a people with a mission of justice, love, peace and healing.
We give thanks that we are called by Almighty God into the fellowship of Christ Jesus, and that God binds us together in love, brotherhood, and service in His Church. God grant that we may together grow in grace, be fruitful in ever good work, and endeavor to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.
If you have any questions please contact Pastor Hendricks, anyone on the Membership Committee, or call the church office.
Some material adapted from the Litany for the Reception of New Members, LBW
For just as the body is one and has many members, and all the members of the body, though many, are one body, so it is with Christ. For in the one Spirit we were all baptized into one body—Jews or Greeks, slaves or free—and we were all made to drink of one Spirit.
