Summer Reading Kick-off Party! O.J. Anderson’s Comedy Show “Laughin’ Loud at the Library!” followed by Carousel Acres

Bedtime Story Time - Wear Your Pajamas to the Library! All Ages – milk and cookies served after the program.

Randy Baker from Naturalist Endeavors Presents: “Reptiles and Amphibians of the World." Live Animal Program. Outside, under the tent (in front of the library). Fun – Educational – All Ages.

Wild Swan Theater Returns with: “A Honey Pot of Pooh Stories." All Ages – Refreshments.

Dan the Creature Man brings Live Insects and Invertebrates for his “Creepy Crawlies” Program. Outside, under the tent (in front of the library). All Ages.
Tuesday, July 8 at 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.
Ann Arbor Hands-On Museum will present two “Bugs Eye View” Workshops for School-Age Entomologists. Ages 6 and up.
Registration Required – sign-up begins on June 24, 2008.

Local Radio Personality and New Children’s Book Author Charity Nebbe - with her dog Sara - will read her
New Picture Book A Walk in the Woods. All Ages – refreshments.

Yo-Yo Master Zeemo Presents: “The Story of the Yo-Yo!" A live Yo-Yo instructional demonstration. Outside, under the tent (in front of the library). Bring your own Yo-Yo or buy one at the show! Ages 6 and Up.

Mother Goose Trudy Bulkley returns for a Special Story Time and Craft. All Ages – No Registration.

Come to a Guinea Pig Party! Learn all about Guinea Pigs while snuggling, hugging and feeding several of our live visitors! All Ages.

Enjoy “Bugs for Lunch” when Margaret Schmidt, “The Farm Lady,” brings her live Guinea Hens to the Library and talks about their eating habits. All Ages – Educational - No Registration

Children who have met their Reading Goals may enter their Reading Records into a Grand Prize Drawing on August 12 and pick up a Book Bag full of prizes!
