Chelsea’s premiere professional string ensemble,
including internationally accomplished violinist Paula Elliot, performs
Faure’s Piano Quartet and
Brahm’s Piano Quintet in F Minor
as Chelsea celebrates its Festival of Lights.
Ms. Elliot studied with the legendary violinist Josef Gingold at
Indiana University and has performed as soloist with major symphonies,
including the Minnesota Orchestra, Seattle Symphony, New Brunswick Chamber
Orchestra. She founded the
Leclair String Quartet, and has performed with many chamber ensembles
throughout the U.S. The
Chelsea Chamber Players also includes local favorites Nathan Peters,
violin, Ian Cumming, viola, Sara Cumming, cello, and Renée Robbins,
piano. Mr. Peters holds
performance degrees from the University of Michigan and currently teaches
orchestra in Chelsea. Mr.
Cumming has performed with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra. Ms. Cumming and Ms. Robbins hold advanced performance degrees
and have extensive chamber performance and teaching experience.
