Arthur Greene and Solomia Soroka
Piano and Violin Duo

Solomia Soroka and Arthur Greene, a dazzling husband and wife duo, present a vibrant concert of virtuosic nineteenth and twentieth century music for solo violin and piano by Ravel, Sarasate, Stravinsky, and William Bolcom.  Soroka has performed as soloist with the Venice Symphony Orchestra, the National Symphony Orchestra of Ukraine, and has won top prizes in three prestigious international violin competitions.  Greene’s dynamic and personal performances as guest soloist with major symphonies including the Philadelphia Orchestra, Utah Symphony, Czech National Symphony, the Tokyo Symphony as well as solo recitals at Carnegie Hall and the Kennedy Center have thrilled audiences throughout the world.  Greene is currently Chair of the Piano Department at the University of Michigan School of Music.
