Kabbalat Shabbat Service, with featured nationally known guest Storyteller Laura Pershin-Raynor, who will also tell stories geared to adults aged 13 and above at the Oneg following.

Shabbat Services, followed by "Tailgate Kiddush" marking the U-M and Ohio football game.

Saturday, November 28 at 9:30 a.m.

Shabbat Services, followed by kiddush luncheon in honor of our college students who are in town for Thanksgiving, with a special invitation to U-M and EMU students who are not able to get away for the weekend.

Saturday, December 5 at 9:30 a.m.

Informal "Sweatshirt Shabbat", followed by Cholent Kiddush. Wear your favorite University, camp, or travel sweatshirt.

Kabbalat Shabbat service and lecture by nationally known Burton Visotsky who will speak about "The Dysfunctional Family as Moral Exemplar".

Shabbat Service, followed by Lunch and Learn with Burton Visotsky. At 7:30 p.m. that evening, Vitosky will present "Cairo to Qatar and Beyond - Jewish Muslim Dialogue in the Past Five Years.

Beth Israel joins Temple Beth Emeth in a joint Yom Hashoah Service at Temple Beth Emeth

Teen Shabbat and Kids Kiddush - A service run entirely by post Bat/Bat Mitzvah teens. Contact Ron Sussman 971-1147, RonSussman@aol.com. The kiddush is planned, prepared, and presented by the 5th and 6th grades.

Women's League Torah Fund Shabbat - offering opportunities for women to learn and/or lead various parts of the service.

Eco and T-Shirt Shabbat and Camp Send-off, followed by a special envornmentally friendly kiddush.
