2010
Al-Anon Open Speaker Meetings: Fridays; April 30, 2010; July 30, 2010; October
29, 2010; and December 31, 2010. (Open Al-Anon meetings may be attended by
anyone, including people who are not members of or newcomers to Al-Anon.) This Al-Anon meeting hosts a speaker meeting
every 5th Friday of each month that has five Fridays. Fellowship
begins at 8:00 pm and an Al-Anon open speaker meeting begins at 8:30 pm. The
meeting is held on the campus of the
U.S. North Central Regional Delegates Meeting: will be held March 12-14, 2010 in Rosemont,
Illinois. World Service Office volunteers and staff members provide a
first-hand opportunity for delegates and WSO personnel to share experiences and
enthusiam about serving the fellowship. This is a Regional Service Seminar;

Michigan AWSC Meeting (Area World Service Committee): will be held Saturday March 20, 2010 at 10:00 am in the Family Life Center at the St. Louis Church of Christ, 1075 West Monroe Road, St. Louis, Michigan.
This meeting is
attended by the Area officers, the Area coordinators, the District
representatives, and any Al-Anon/Alateen member who was interested. Please

Michigan Alateen Spring Rally Lock-in:
will be held on Saturday April 10 – Sunday April 11, 2010; at the Dawn Farm
Community barn, 6633 Stoney Creek Road, Ypsilanti Michigan. Doors will open
Saturday 4:00 pm and close at 8:00 pm. Will reopen again on Sunday at 8:00 am.
Important rally as they will be making decisions regarding the 2011 KOMIAC
which will be held here in Michigan. Will be working on items which can be sold
at the state convention in May at Shanty Creek to help with the cost of the

2010 World
Service Conference: will be held on April 10-15, 2010 at Virginia Beach, Virginia. Al-Anon’s
49th Annual World Service Conference, in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Delegates to
the World Service Conference share their experiences, solve problems, and make
decisions about Al-Anon issues. For more information about World Service

Wisconsin 22nd Al-Anon Adult Children Workshop and Festival: will be held Friday, April 30-May 2, 2010 at the
Green Lake Conference Center W 2511

Michigan Al-Anon/Alateen 38th
Annual State Convention 2010 with AA Participation:
Friday May 14 through Sunday May 16, 2010, at the Shanty Creek Resort in Bellaire, Michigan.
Theme: “Together We Can.” Al-Anon main speaker will be Jesse P. from Flint,
Michigan and the Alateen speaker will be Molly G. from Wyoming, Michigan.

Al-Anon Spring Assembly: will be held on June 20, 2010 at 10:00am in the Family
Life Center at the St. Louis Church of Christ, 1075

Louis, Michigan. The Area Assembly is a business meeting where participating
members share experiences and ideas, and group representatives vote on behalf

Panel Discussion (a moderated
panel presentation in the Dawn Farm Education Series) will be presented on
Tuesday, May 18, 2010; from 7:30 pm. to 9:00 pm, at the St. Joseph Mercy
Hospital Education Center, in the auditorium (ground floor) at 5305 Elliott Drive,
Ypsilanti, Michigan. The panel is free and open to all, and free approved CE is

Alcoholics Anonymous 2010 International Convention: The 2010
International Convention of Alcoholics Anonymous will be held July 1st
through July 4th in San Antonio, Texas with the theme 75 Years San Antonio “A
Vision for You.” This convention includes Al-Anon /Alateen participation. Please click here

2011 and beyond:
Alcoholics Anonymous 2015 International Convention: The 2015
International Convention of Alcoholics Anonymous will be held over the July 4th
weekend in Atlanta, Georgia. This convention includes Al-Anon/Alateen
participation.
Alcoholics Anonymous 2020 International Convention: We are excited to learn that the 2020 International Convention
of Alcoholics Anonymous will be held in Detroit over the July 4th
weekend. This convention includes
Al-Anon/Alateen participation.

Planning a
trip? Want to know about Al-Anon/Alateen events outside of our local community?
The Al-Anon World Services Office maintains a calendar of Al-Anon/Alateen
events held nationwide and internationally. Members can reach the calendar by
going to the “member’s area” of the World Services web site, at http://www.al-anon.org/members/. You need to know the name of your registered “home group” or
your district to enter a password to access the “member’s area.” Follow the
directions to enter the password. Then,
click on “calendar” at the bottom of the page.
