Al-Anon Adult Children meetings in the District 5 Area Open A.A. (Alcoholics Anonymous) meetings
are also listed.

meetings welcome the public (non-alcoholics) as well as alcoholics to
attend and learn about alcoholism, recovery, and the A.A. program.)

Students or other observers: please note
that all meetings in District 5 are closed meetings. Closed meetings may
be attended by anyone who feels his or her life may be affected by alcoholism. Students and
others who feel they may belong in Al-Anon personally are always welcome to
attend any meeting as a prospective newcomer, and professionals and students
are welcome to attend Al-Anon meetings for their own personal support in
their work with alcoholics. However - students or others who wish to
attend a meeting solely to observe
for their professional education are asked not to attend closed meetings; they are welcome to attend open meetings.
Currently
there are no registered open Al-Anon meetings in District 5;
there are open Al-Anon meetings in Wayne, Oakland,
Lenawee and Monroe Counties and in other areas of Michigan. Please see our links page for information on how to contact an Al-Anon Information
Service to ask about locating an open Al-Anon meeting in the area you are
interested in. |
