Computer Conferencing Systems
While these systems are sometimes also referred to as "Bulletin Boards",
they are somewhat different in a number of ways. They are usually
Unix based,
connected to the internet,
and they offer the use of more sophisticated
computer conferencing software. There are always ongoing
discussions on a wide variety of topics.
Conferencing systems are not very common, but remarkably there are
three operating in Ann Arbor. This makes Ann Arbor the computer
conferencing capitol of the world!
- Grex is a computer conferencing

Grex is run by Cyberspace Communications, Inc. a non-profit corporation.
- M-Net is the oldest computer
conferencing system. It is a system with a focus on education.

Public Access Linux Machine which is run by
